
Nyltite is a plastic component, manufactured using a patented tubular extrusion process, designed to be placed under the head of any screw. This special ring provides a self-locking, anti-vibration, and leak-proof effect, improving safety and reliability in every assembly.
Thanks to its annular shape, Nyltite ensures uniform compression between the screw and the threaded hole, delivering consistent performance and effective protection against loosening caused by vibrations or mechanical stress. The selected plastic material allows secure sealing at extreme temperatures from -56°C to +120°C and withstands pressures up to 1000 bar. It also resists the effects of saltwater, hot hydrocarbons, coolants, alkaline substances, and mineral acids, as well as most solvents and chemicals, reducing the need for adhesives, washers, or traditional gaskets.
In addition to its sealing and self-locking properties, Nyltite acts as an electrical insulator, protecting both the screw and the panel and preventing electrolytic corrosion.
