Anchor Rivet Bush
Our ANCHOR RIVET BUSH (ARB) is a threaded fastener with a serrated shank. This shank, when riveted over, cuts into the surface of the sheet metal, providing high torque resistance while firmly holding the bush in position.

DESIGN GUIDE
PREPARING THE HOLE
Holes may be punched or drilled, so long as a tolerance of -0.00/+0.1 mm is maintained.
ASSEMBLY
To reduce the footprint on the opposite side of the sheet metal, it is essential to always use a punch of the proper size and shape. For best results, we recommend using a press. However, small quantities may be installed manually.
LOAD DIRECTION
Although the joined part may be affixed on either side of the bush, the best results are achieved when fastening is done on the shank side.
NOTE: STANDOFFS (ARBSO)
When space is not a key concern, you will get better performance using the next size up in terms of the shank.
STANDARD MATERIAL
Mild steel.
STANDARD FINISHES
Natural or clear zinc plating with passivation.
Other materials and finishes available upon request.
