ELICEL BSF

Our ELICEL® threaded inserts are made using a wire with a rhomboid cross-section to form two concentric, high-precision threads: one internal and one external. When installed, they provide high-quality threading that significantly outperforms ordinary tapping. ELICEL® inserts increase thread strength in all metals and form an elastic bond between the screw and the threading, eliminating the inevitable differences in pitch that arise between a screw and a tapped hole. They are also a quick, cost-effective way to repair stripped or otherwise unusable threads.

ELICEL® threaded inserts are used in all industries and have become an essential factor in ensuring the security of assembled components. When installed, an ELICEL® threaded insert creates perfect threading that complies with ISO standards and the tolerances of other similar systems. To facilitate installation, the lower end of ELICEL® threaded inserts is bent into what is known as a “tang”. For through holes, this tang may be broken off after installation.
