RIVEBLOC JN

FOR PLASTICS & COMPOSITE MATERIALS

Open, cyclindrical shank and cylindrical flange for use in plastics. Particularly suited for panels made of soft materials such as expanded plastics and composites. May also be used in sheet metal when the mechanical stresses of torque and axial pull-out are lower than the specified rating of Rivebloc threaded rivet nuts.

Their one-way assembly enable them to be used when the opposite end is not accessible (e.g. pipes, sheet metal boxes, etc).
May be installed in parts that have already been painted and requires no further finishing step.
Holes may be punched or drilled.
Requires no welding and can replace weld nuts.
May be installed in different types of material (e.g. steel, aluminum, fiberglass, plastics).

DESIGN GUIDE

RIVEBLOC JN is to be inserted after threading it onto the mandrel of the rivet nut tool.
Pulling torque on the thread of RIVEBLOC JN deforms the shank and anchors the nut to the support.
RIVEBLOC JN is now ready for the screw in order to join other parts.
Availabe in thread ranging from M4 to M6 and for thicknesses of up to 10 mm. Material: zinc-plated steel.
