WOODSPREAD is an insert designed for installation in conical holes in wood or composite materials. Its particular knurling makes it particularly resistant to the pull-out and clamping forces of the tightened screw.

DESIGN GUIDE
PREPARING THE HOLE
The hole needs to be cylindrical. Blind holes need to be at least 10% deeper than the length of the insert.
INSTALLATION
WOODSPREAD is a press-in insert that is easy to install and expands for a secure fit with the help of the dual pattern of knurling.
WALL THICKNESS
We recommend thick walls around the insert with a minimum total width of the boss of at least twice the outer diameter of the insert.
INSTALLATION
Press the insert into the pre-drilled hole. When tightened, the screw will expand the insert and press the knurling into the walls for greater grip.
