Unibo Motorsport and Athena: proud of our sponsorship for the University of Bologna racing team

Today, we’re excited to share our sponsorship of Unibo Motorsport, the University of Bologna’s racing team. More than 300 students combine their academic knowledge with hands-on experience in the team to compete against other university teams in international races on Europe’s most prestigious circuits.

This season ended on a high note for the team and Athena, their electric vehicle unveiled last June. After competing in Formula Student Austria and passing all tests, the team claimed first place in Formula Student Spain, setting the best time in the Endurance race. The season wrapped up with Formula ATA, where the combustion vehicle Genesi won Class 3, and Athena achieved an impressive eighth place. Athena also took home two major awards: “Innovative Strategies E-PWT Control System” and “Best Battery Design.”

We’re incredibly proud of their accomplishments. The hard work and dedication of the Unibo Motorsport team prove that there are no limits when you keep growing, improving, and believing in your abilities.
