FLO-TECH is a closed-end threaded insert that is designed to meet the needs of anyone who prefers to install the insert during the molding process. The exclusive design of three opposing helical knurl bands and related grooves ensures extremely high levels of performance in tests of both torque-out and pull-out resistance.

DESIGN GUIDE
In certain applications, our Flo-Tec inserts may also be installed after the molding process. Contact PSM CELADA Fasteners for more information. The design of the locating pin is a determinant factor in the success of the insert molding process. The particular geometry of the pin, as shown in the diagram, positions and holds the insert in place prior to molding, thereby inhibiting the outflow of plastic during the process.
